Had the paninis and Caesar salad which were fine but didn't compare to the setting. The wine was also good but I wouldn't buy a case of it. I'm hoping to return again soon and will try the pizza. ”
“ Not our first time here and this place reminded me why I did. The place is quaint and reminiscent of an old world vineyard. The food is great and the staff is friendly and accommodating. This is a must when in Sonoma. You don't need reservations it's a first come first serve basis to eat in the courtyard but for wine tasting you need to make plans. ”
“ Wow! Just went & got take out pizza there. WOW! Wood fired. Literally the best pizza ever. Our order was taken by a real Italian grandma that I would love to adopt. Also Italian grandma is from Italy! Has an accent! I was in heaven! Her recipes are in the books in the deli too. Looked like Italian grandpa was doing a lot of cooking too, bringing out food into the deli case. Really made me miss my own grandparents (I'm not Italian, I'm Jewish but you know there's a lot of similarities!). We ordered Margharita pizza to go, it was fantastic. It's wood fired. Their hours are from 10-4. You can walk through to the deli to order to go. The tables, which are on the piazza are another matter. They're great, completely in shade but I do recommend you get a reservation for them. The crust on the pizza was SUPERB!!!! The pizza was superb!!! WILL GO THERE AGAIN! Preferably soon! ”
“ Overall, a good place with good wine country food that's adapted well to COVID. There's a lot of seating throughout and the food is pretty good. This place is embedded in a winery complex, but it should be pretty easy to spot as there's a host stand coordinating the flow of diners through a very large outdoor tent and some other outdoor seating around the building. Bathrooms: Clean, spacious, and functional. ”
“ My family enjoyed the food, wine, and atmosphere at La Cucina. We ordered at the deli counter, were given a number for our table, and the delicious food was brought to us. Hubby bought wine on the VJB winery side of the building, and we enjoyed this with our lunch. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, including a yummy pesto pasta, roasted eggplant, and caprese salad. We sat outside at a picnic table in the courtyard and had a wonderful meal!! ”
